About Patncat Co Inc.
After my husband suffered a stroke and the recession of 2008 left all front line workers without employment, my husband suggested I start a business of my own. I jumped at the idea as I desperately wanted to stay busy and needed a level of flexibility to be there and see to his continued care.
In 2009, with just a couple of employees, I started Patncat Co Inc. as a full-service bookkeeping firm to help small businesses and my community with all their accounting, bookkeeping, and tax needs.
Since our initiation over ten years ago, with a handful of clients, we now have a physical presence in Stoney Creek. We plan on opening a second office in Cormac, Ontario, shortly. We also have four dedicated employees who work online and at our offices to make your business run like clockwork.
We are busy all year round, but tax season is the peak, with a minor slowdown in the winter months.

At Patncat Co Inc., our client base consists mostly of small businesses that need help with accounting. We see that most of our clients are preoccupied with sales and day-to-day operations. They also lack the accounting services of larger businesses. Our goal is to level the playing field, at least from an accounting and bookkeeping perspective, to help our clients succeed and their businesses thrive.
One aspect that makes us second to none is our customer service and ability to make our customers feel secure and taken-care-of.
What sets us apart from the rest of our competitors is our in-depth knowledge, willingness to listen, and comprehensive accounting and bookkeeping skills. Our down-to-earth work atmosphere, twenty-four-hour callback policy, and desire to make sure our customers truly understand their financial situation has also added value to our proposition and made us the best at what we do.
One of our most significant achievements has been our unbroken track record of always filing government remittances on time and the continued success we have seen even during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Our dream for the future is to continue serving the Southern Ontario region and to increase our customer satisfaction rate by about ten percent each year.
While we are passionate about what we do, we also care about protecting the environment. In our practice, we avoid using paper to save the trees and recycle whatever can be recycled to save our environment for future generations.
We also believe in giving back to society and, as part of that belief, support local law enforcement associations and contribute towards veteran care and wellbeing.
